can you PLEASE fix the link media mess?

Same problem across several versions.  EVERY time I open a project with assets on a cloud drive, including LucidLink, requires manually relinking, and the locate/search function will NEVER search in the folder I have selected. It will literally search every folder on every drive on my machine. 

Just fix it.

That would be incredibly infuriating! Just ... wow.

I cannot replicate this on either my PC desktop or atop, with LucidLink based projects and media.

What the Hades is causing this? I hope someone pops in with useful information.

Can you let us know how you originally imported the media files?

Are you using media browser or the finder to relink?

Can you post a screenshot of your link media dialog box?

It's not *every* time, but it's often, and I haven't been able to reliably replicate it.  I've seen people mention it in other forums and say the same thing about working from external drives. Beyond that I have no idea
