Hi Guys,
i've noticed some issues on the playback when i speed ramp my videos, first i thought maybe I'ven't got enought frames but, i even checked one of my projects last year (where it was fine). there it was choppy as well now, last year everything was fine.
so I've got an Video 50fps. my timeline says 25fps. i speed ramped it to 50%. and when i try to playback it its very choppy like i do not have enough fps. but there are definitely enough.
when i try to nest it and add an warp stabilizer it's completey lost. JITTERING.
Prerendering (render in and out) or even normal rendering it's fine, besides the warp stabilizer it stays stuttering. i thought it was maybe the new nvidia driver, but i made an downgrade on it and still the same no fix there.
doesn anybody know this issue?
thanks BR Stipe

You are asking more of your machine than it can deliver. And if your media is mp4/H.264 long-GOP then that's a large part of the issue.
Next ... Warp is the most resource heavy effect possible. Even more so than Neat Video noise remover. Applying Warp and any other heavy effect will choke about any machine.
Which is why when I need to apply Warp, I do so, then view the results. If satisfactory, I immediately do a full render & replace of that clip to say ProRes422, so that I am no longer using the clip with Warp on it.
Doing speed ramping/changes constitutes applying a second heavy-resource effect.

ok i would understand the thing with warp and speed ramping. but to much for my machine only speed ramping?
and i would like to say, it worked just fine the year before, don't know when it acutally stopped working.
as i said my project similar project last year, was fine no issues, this year it doesn't work anymore. strange.

"We" don't know your computer specs or even the media involved, which means it's just guessing.
I can add that each year, the base demands for computer hardware ramp on in all of the pro video apps. As they get more capable and complex, they need ever more hardware. Frustrating but true.

here is a gif - i hope its visible. so the original video is 100fps and its been just slowed down to 40%
when prerendered (GOOD)
withou prerendering (CHOPPY)
without any warp. i'd like to add little warp here, but this is not possible.
so my specs are:
i9 12900K alder lake
64GB RAM
RTX 3080

Update: Warp Stabilizer doesn't work properly in Premiere at all. stuttering.
when i go over to AE and do the warp there, just fine.
I've tried to downgrade Nvidia, premiere, even the Audio driver, thought maybe this has anything to do with the issue. but no success there.
seems like a premiere issue or even a WINDOWS issue, cause when i try to open premiere - CMD windows are popping up. 4-5 windows, they dissapear after a few seconds.

Premiere is so bad right now,
when i open a project 5-6 CMD windows popping up for a sec. it's completely laggy and i dont even mean the playback or videos, operating trough the menu is so bad. i dont even know why I didnt have moved to da vinci yet.
