Gif loop, pause itself before restart looping

Hello, first day I'm using premiere pro.

just imported an animated gif and placed in timeline, duplicated many times to continue looping during the video clip.

however when the gif ends there is a little pause before to restart playing. I just tried with two different video editors (davinci and final cut) and no issues.

i'm on mac m2 and premiere pro 24

any idea please?

Hi @Stefano_Camaiani3356,

Try this.

1. Place the clip into the Source Monitor.
2. Go to the end of the clip.
3. Move the playhead left one frame.
4. Mark Out.
5. Press Insert or Overwrite as many times as you need.

Copy/paste is probably adding that last frame, which you don't want if you would like a looping action. Let us know if that works.

your reply have a sense, however maybe cool to know why many other softwares bypass this issue without modifying last frame (davinci, final cut, OBS, etc etc)

Hi Kevin, I just tried to remove latest frame but no results here...

The gap before loop there again.

Hi Kevin, just tried, however the animated gif pause before restart as before. Any other idea please?
