  • I work as a local reporter at a TV station in Cheyenne Wyoming. I do on camera interviews every single day and have an external microphone attached to the video camera.
  • I have never had this issue in the past but now every time I drag my interviews into the timeline of Premier Pro the audio and video are out of sync. The raw file is in sync on the desktop but as soon as I drag the file into premiere pro the audio and video are out of sync completely. Please help me find the solution to this problem.

Hi @william_6735,

Is this an AVCHD camcorder? Is it in .MTS format? If so, try the following:

  1. Ensure you copy the entire folder structure to the computer hard drive before importing the footage into Premiere Pro.
  2. Please import using the Media Browser and see if you get a better result.
  3. How is playback? Let us know!

Thanks,
Kevin

Not a phone right?

What camera are you using?

Does it shoot constant frame rate?

What format is the video?
