Media Encoder: Error retrieving image at time code /Erreur de récupération de l’image 249 au niveau du time code

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to deinterlace some HDVi (codec HDV3 ; format MPEG Video) footage in media encoder (the classic way that you can find online. I know a lab in my city have succeeded with Media Encoder (but maybe they have a plug in that I don't have ?).

BUT everytime it fails and say "Error retrieving image at time code (...)". They are clearly some corrupted images inside the numerised footage (Someone else did it). How can I make media composer recreate or don't mind some of the corrupted images ? Or a TC problem ?

Does anyone has encountered this kinf of issues with deinterlacing in media composer ? Or an idea of the deeper problem ?

Thanks a lot !!

Merci beaucoup

Actually, it's strange, I've just realized that my footage normally last 30 seconds, 25 fps interlace (HDV1080i) BUT here in media encoder and premiere pro they read it as a 10 second video. Maybe a problem with TC ?? It shows that the TC starts at 00:00:10:02.

10 seconds instead of 30 seconds ? Why des media encoder and premiere pro thinks it's much shorter ?

Thanks
