As of late whenever I try to record audio on adobe premiere pro using my Blue Snowball microphone on my MacBook Pro, the app does not reconize that it is plugged in. When I go to audio hardware to connect it myself it shows the blue snowball as a input option put next to it, it says (not working). In the past I have been able to either unplug and plug the microphone back in, reatrt premiere pro, and even restart my computer in general and the problem is fixed. However, that just isn't the case anymore. I bought a new blue snowball microphone thinking the old one I had just didn't work anymore but the issue is still occuring. How would I go about fixing this issue?

Premiere Pro already had access to microphone. I turned it off and turned it on again along with restarting my computer after the process, and now my microphon doesn't even come up as in option. Any more help on this issue would be much appreciated!

try to install the new version of premiere pro,
leave your current version as you have projects you are working on to finish,
you can always have 2 versions of premiere pro.. try if the issue persists in the new one
