I opened up my project to find that my entire edit is missing. All I see is a tab with my sequence name "Assembly Edit" - nothing else. I open up bins to see if other sequences work - they do load in the timeline but they do not play at all and I cannot see any imagery on the program monitor. Then everything freezes. This is happening on all of my autosave projects as well. Something is seriously wrong and it seems like a bug or corruption of some kind. I've already had a technician help me for hours last week and he had no clue.
Yesterday I salvaged a project that I had emailed myself (a safety backup) and it's the only project that will work. After editing using this emailed safety project - I saved it, and today I opened it and the same thing is happening all over again - nothing is in my timeline but the name of the sequence on the tab - it's all black. Also there is no imagery and nothing plays - even if there appears to be a clip loaded (though it is empty) - the play button won't work.
I even tried putting an In and Out point on the program monitor, copy the invisible sequence (only proof something might be there is that it shows the length of my cut and my markers). I then created a new project and new sequence and copied my invisible edit and for a moment I saw all the edited clips pop onto the timeline and then it quickly disappeared. One time my edit stayed on the timeline, but wouldn't play and then everything froze and the project crashed.
How can I escalate this issue with Adobe?
Thanks for any input.
