I recently bought a Macbook Pro (M1), so I've been transferring all my settings from my Windows desktop. I've got everything working, apart from the Logitech MX3S Zoom In/Out feature for the thumb wheel. The feature works, but when you zoom in and out, it's not locked to the timeline playhead. Instead it's locked to the mouse cursor, which is frustrating because I keep having to move the cursor to zoom in on the correct area on the timeline.
I'm assuming that this issue is with the Logi Options+ software and not with Premiere. If I use the shortcuts "=" and "-" then the zoom will be focused directly to the playhead. I also saw from other forum posts that it could be something to do with the display. However, I've hooked my Mac into my usual editing monitor and the issue still persists. I've updated all my software to the latest versions (Premiere 24.2.1) and checked if the problem exists on Windows (it doesn't).
I don't know if this is a feature or a bug, but I checked all my preferences and couldn't see anything. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this.
Thank you.
