Premiere Pro & Mac OS Spaces

Premiere Pro windows are not respecting mac os spaces feature of the desktop.

If I put a window from Premiere Pro into a second mac os space, it immediately shunts back to the space with other windows.

Edit: There seems to be a few irregularities with Premiere windows - they don't 'minimize' with os keyboard commands either, and with stage manager they are pretty creative with their interactions (they don't work as they should, though there is some minimizing that takes place).
