Premiere Pro isn't snapping cuts or clips into place anymore?

Premiere isn't snapping clips, cuts, or anything into place anymore for me. Usually when I'm dragging a clip, it'll stop dragging right before going into the next clip or the one before. The cutting feature is also not longer snapping to the arrow/line on the timeline. It's very frustrating and it's making it impossible to edit. Yes, I've tried redownloading the software. Nothing. Please help. Thanks

do you have snapping turned on either in the sequence menu or by enabling it in the timeline?  It's possible that you're accidentally turning it off using the shortcut...
