Problem with source monitor losing ability to do in and out points

For whatever reason, the UI in my source monitor messes up and I'm no longer able to see the scrub bar or create In / Out points (See screenshot). I have to reboot the program to get it back, but it ends up messing up again after not too long. I've had this problem pop up pretty regularly for a year+ now.

 

Premiere Pro - Ver 23.3.0 (build 61)

14" Macbook Pro

Apple M1 Max

32GB RAM

OS Ventura 13.3.1 (a)

@Shamgar are you able to reproduce this bug consistently?  What are the steps to make this happen?  I've seen this myself occasionally but can't reproduce it when I try, making it a very tough bug to fix.  Any help from you would be very appreciated.

This issue has been around for a very long time now.

I see it mostly on audio clips.

 

Close panel and open by double clicking on clip in project panel or timeline.

Thanks @Ann Bens.  I tracked down our internal bug and it indeed is related to loading audio clips. We have a fix in beta now!
