Pan and scanning by changing the position/scale and rotation - very smooth.
DOing it with the transform effect - juddery and awful. Useful for popping animations on and off the screen with motion blur. Hopeless for smooth small motions. I've assumed for years that the motion effect simply doesn't have sub pixel movement or the precision of changing the motion properties, but it only just occurred to me that it could be a bug. Is it as designed, or do I have an issue?
