Unable to View Text in Premiere Pro

Whenever I try adding text into my timeline, it doesnt appear (Fill is activated and the fonts are default)
If you notice the top of my program monitor is displaying the bottom of the text layer (in red), this doesn't move no matter what values i change for position

Manually creating the text box will display a properly placed box, but the text is still invisible and uneditable, trying to use the align tool gives me the following values

Ive restarted my PC, Uninstalled and Reinstalled Adobe, I do not know what to do, please help!
