I have a talking head clip I need to fit into a minute and applying 110% speed increase adds a chorus or echo effect to the audio ONLY when I enable maintain pitch.
Any ideas? Thanks for any help.
I haven't tried it recently, but the only way I got it to sound good was by using Audition.

This wasn't a problem until recently. Now I cannot change the speed of an audio clip in Premiere without having this echo effect. The suggested solution (aka workaround) adds steps to something that used to be fast and simple.

Yeah, it's annoying that such a simple function doesn't work as it should. I ended up using Audition.

Are they working on it? Using another app in the suite works OK.

Agreed the only way to make this work is not to use the "maintain pitch" not sure why this hasnt been fixed other than every one uses protoolsbut us, and this might be why.

Does anyone know if this was fixed or what is the workaround without using audition?
