13.0.2 Essential graphics - punctuation appears at wrong place

Upgraded to 13.0.2 on OSX High Sierra - seems OK mostly. But there is an issue when I create a title with essential graphics - this was just a temp holder so I typed 'master title?' and got '?master title'

Further attempts put spaces and letters and punctuation at all sorts of weird places.

Anyone else experience this / have workarounds?

That's bizarre!

And lucky you, you're the first to report this that I've seen ... and I've not a clue. Does it happen with other fonts also?

Changed font & behaviour continued. Have upgraded on laptop (which is OS X Sierra 10.12.6) & all fine there.

Do you think that might be the problem? It’s Apple standard wired keyboard with numpad. Mouse is a Logitech G300 (https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G300s-Optical-Gaming-910-004360/dp/B00RH6R7C4 ).

it could be yes. As an example the RAT mouse series have a lot of issues with Mac as software support was dropped for it a while back. when using one it will often type out weird numbers and symbols or just go crazy on tracking speed until you disconnect and reconnect the dongle.

Logitch keeps their software up to date so I doubt it’s that but it never hurts to rule out every possibility.
