3D App for AE

I have some Sketchfab OBJ 3D models and use Blender to render video files with transparency to import into Aftereffects. It would be cool to skip this process and directly import into AE. I tried the Maxon plugin but it does not OBJ  - plus it is buggy and constantly crashes. Is there a good plugin that will import OBJ formats into AE?

Thanks for the link. I'll look into Element 2 later hoping it is better than Cinema 4D, which is very limiting. That said, AE really can't handle 3D well so I will stick with Blender.
