Hi,
I just uploaded the last version of premiere pro 2020 (V14.1).
When i open my project, my whole files are in "media pending".
I really need you to figure it out. I have to get back my project ASAP.
Do you think it could come from that last upload?
Best regards.
Unfortunatly faced the same this morning. So I've rolled back to 14.0.4, till they fix this problem
Sorry for the wait, but Premiere Pro 14.2 has just shipped and contains the fix for legacy Titles with GPU Renderer.
What's new and fixed in PPro 14.2:

In Premiere Pro 14.1, you can use Software Only Renderer to work around this issue (see post above). If 13.1.5/2019 was uninstalled, you can go back to Creative Cloud and under Premiere Pro, click the ... in bottom right and choose Other Versions. You can choose to install 13.1.5 again (or previous 14.x version).

This was incredibly frustrating. Don't roll out changes just for the sake doing something. I'm on a deadline and just spent all day chasing a problem that wasn't a problem yesterday! It's hard enough keeping clients in this crisis, please don't make it harder. thank you

Just reporting the same issue too. Please notify when it's fixed. Till then, with this workaround...

Did you guys just update to Catalina OS 10.15.4 - My premiere was working perfect... then I updated today (half against my better judgement) and lo and behold... now I have this same exact error and the media is pending, audio only... and I cannot seem to fix it. Will try what you suggested but any and all help would be appreciated... thanks.

I have the same problem as well! Fed up of having constant problems with a service we pay so much money for!!! Seriously stop forcing new updates out untill they are compeltely bullet proof.. you create more pressure on us, making us look bad for a product we rely on that isnt relable!

I am having the same issue with the low level exception stuff. I have four projects pending and I cannot even get the first one to play on my timeline!!! I am a teacher whose production class has totally gone online because of COVID-19 concerns. Now I cannot get any work done. I need help getting this fixed ASAP!

If changing to Software Only Renderer does not meet your needs, you can go back to Premiere Pro 14.0.4 to continue your work. Click on More Options (...) on the bottom right of the Premiere Pro app in Creative Cloud and choose Other versions.

This error is pretty obnoxious. So we can't add titles anymore. That legacy title tool has been glitchy from the start and always resets to an obnoxious layout. I get the playback error (5, 79, and a few others). I tried clearing my prefrences, reinstalling... Nothing works. Trying to get a project out today and this is pretty epic

I've tried switching to Mercury Playback Software Only and the same low level excepetion.......errors continue. This HAS NOT solved the problem at ALL. You take our $53 bucks every month and then you put out an upgrade that no one was clamoring for that bogs down our current project flows while we try to meet deadlines or lose our clients in a time of cisis in the country and this industry, sounds like trumpism to me. Adobe get your damn act together or stop billing us the monthly fee.

Another update, when I exported this project it took over 10 hours via Media Encoder no matter which Mercury Playback Engine option I selected. And when I opened the exported mp4 movie, a lot of my After Effects treated clips for documents were all messed up, for example the vignette effect was worn and in some instance caused a stobing during playback. This is so F'd up.

I have done all the changes and even roled back to the previous software version and the problem still persists for me as well. So as far as I'm concerned, this forum thread is not 'Solved'

So sorry. This is the point at which I'd be on the phone with Adobe.
