Hi there, I have a cloud subscription and quite frankly i am overwhelmed! I have googled and just gotten more and more confused so i thought i would ask in here directly what it is i want to do and hope somebody can help:
1) How to add a moving spiral/ hypnotic effect/ video/ gif etc OVER a video? I make relaxing meditation type videos and would like to add some cool effects like this as just a light see through layer over the top. For example i am speaking to the camera but i want a subtle moving spiral effect over the whole thing?
2) How to change backgrounds in my videos to disguise say a white wall and make it look like everything is dark except for me (the focus)
3) Any other cool effects you know of that i could look into for these type of videos?
4) Can I do all of this in premiere pro or do i need to be using after effects?
Many thanks

Lots of interesting questions here, and none of them easily answered in one shot in the forum.
Check out some of the Premiere Pro training on Lynda.com (or LinkedIn Learning). There are some amazing sites out there...you can learn some great techniques from tutorials.

Thank you. I am sure there is lots of wonderful information on lynda, as there is on google. I want to know these specific things however.

As Buck already said: not easy to answer in a few words.
Nobody is eager to type out half the Help.
1. There is no ready made spiral in Pr.
2. Look in the help for Keying.
3. Lynda and Google (that is how most of us started).
4. Special Effect are best done in Ae.

I recommend obtaining a general proficiency with the software before one starts working on real projects.
Put simply: First learn, then do.

Thankfully there are videos on youtube that answered my question about the spiral so one does NOT have to wade through hours and hours of completely irrelevant stuff. Just wanted to achieve something quickly. Thanks.
