Adjust Position in Auto Reframe

Explorer ,
Feb 19, 2023 Feb 19, 2023

This has been a problem for me since the first time Auto Reframe has been launched. In the meantime I changed several different versions of Premiere Pro, my OS and even changed computer. At the moment I'm using MacBook Pro 2019 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, MacOS Ventura 13.0.1 and Premiere Pro 22.6.2.

After I create a vertical sequence from a 16:9 one using Auto Reframe, I go ahead clip by clip and try to adjust the positions of those who are not centered in the subject. I do so by changing the values next to "Adjust Position". In the program monitor, nothing moves. It does only when I change "Reframe Offset", but this doesn't have the toggle keyframe function. Why is this? How can I use this function properly?

If I had to open After Effects to solve the problem (which would also imply that I start paying a subscription for it), I simply wouldn't use the Auto Reframe function, but rather do the operation manually, as I've always done.

I am having this issue in the newest version 25.1.  Do you have a fix?

Sorry to hear that. We understand how frustrating it can be when features don't work as expected. Could you share a screenshot that displays the issue?

Let us know.

Thanks,

KR
