Adobe premier pro cc 2019

Hello,

I've been using this software for a couple of days now with no problem, however today when I tried importing a file it wouldn't show me the file on my document inside PP. I have used the community "fixes" with deleting the media cache and unticking "Enable hardware acceleration decoding (requires restart)." so I'm not really sure what I can do now to combat this problem, some help would be appreciated. thank you.

Please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card
