Hello,
Please help. When trying to import my 4K60 video into adobe premier pro it only imports audio. I also try to load it through the media browser and it only imports the audio. I have attached some of the information.
Thank You

Some more information: After importing into handbrake and exporting the video, it imports fine into premier pro. So i am guessing it has something to do with the codec since i am exporting the same resolution and frame rate the video was shot in just changing it to H.264. Is there a way to fix this in premier so i don't need to go through the step of importing and exporting video through handbrake? I also feel doing this reduces quality.
Thank You

if you're having trouble with GoPro camera originals, try concerting the clipa with GoPro Studio and then importing those.

It kills me to see tyos and autocorrect incorrectness in a post a day later!
"Concerting" should be "converting".

It appears the GoPro Studio has now changed names to Quik which only works on Windows 10. Is there a version of the Studio version that support windows 7 64bit and a download somewhere? Is there a way to load the correct codec onto premiere to be able to import and play these videos?
Thank You

you can try to activate ingest and transcode option, I guess that AME will read it, plus prores or any other codec will be so much better than h265 or h264 to edit.

Thanks for the suggestion. Can you tell me how I would go about doing this?

GoPro Studio does appear to have disappeared from their download section. You'd think that they would keep older versions available for download somewhere. I'd call the support number and ask if you can get the older version and if so, how to get it. Double-check that it supports the newer H265 CODEC as well.
Also, I just noticed that your screen shot is PR CC 2015. Have you tried PR CC 2017 as well? You already be aware that you can uncheck "Remove Old Versions" in the Advanced options to keep CC2015.

Is the 2017 Version just a trial or will you get full access if you have the previous version installed?

Are you using a trial version of CC2015? Or is it via a Creative Cloud subscription?
The Apps tab of the Creative Cloud Desktop handles the installation.

Although, if you're running the most recent version of Creative Cloud Desktop, the appearance has changed slightly. It's much better organized for when more than one version of an application is installed now.

How would i be able to determine this? I believe it is not a trial version i am running but i do not have the creative cloud desktop installed any longer.

If you don't have the CC Desktop installed, you are going to be running in "Trial" mode ... that's the app that runs home to mama to verify legality.

Ahh yes i must be then. Does 2017 work like this if you download the trial and delete the desktop it will allow you to run in trial mode indefinitely? Im seeing if my PC is compatible with windows 10. The last time my laptop was forced to download windows 10 it black screened on me and Microsoft had to revert it and then told me it was not compatible and i cant upgrade when i had no desire to in the first place......so im not to fond of windows 10.

No, you can't run trial ... I think that's like 7 days now. CC apps all work with Win7, 8, and 10.
