Hi,

I hope someone is able to help me out. I have tried to install adobe Premiere 2017cc already three times but always f I try to start the *.exe file I get an error message befor ethe program even starts to load:

German: "Die Anwendung konnte nicht nicht korrekt gestartet werden (0xc0150004). Klicken Sie auf "OK", um die Anwendung zu schließen."

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue and to start the software currently? As always the German Support is not proper available.

Thanks and regards

Felix

same Problem since the last update or so.

premiere + afterfx cannot run anymore.

How did you fix it?

I mean your question is over 1 year old. So if you ask others for help dont you think that updating your post is the least you can do in return?

The error 0xc0150004 is not from Premiere, it is from the OS, Windows, this error is related to Net Framework or Visual Studio, therefore you should try to uninstall the packages that you have installed and reinstall them, it is recommended to clean them first. vestiges that may remain.

My recommendation, formatting and reinstallation, sounds hard but it is the safest thing.

Thanks for the hint.

i removed all C++ redistributables and frameworks.

it seems adobe cloud will reinstall them when starting a 12.0 Application

But when i start a 12.1 or 12.11 Application (Encoder,AE,Premiere) via CC it would remain silent, not starting the application not even throwing no error msg.

When starting the 12.11 Application via Start Menu it will give me the error.

it seems the cc cloud application is not doing its job properly.

Any idea wich redist may be missing for 12.1 12.11? because 12.0 runs just fine...

LATEST

After contacting adobe support we pinned it down that the IntelHD GPU works fine with the Apps but when using the additional Nvidia GPU the programms will not run.

The Nvidia driver has a tool so you can force an application to use IntelHD or the Nvidia GTX one.

Well after effects with IntelHD doesnt make too much sense but at least it seems not to be the C++ runtimes...
