Adobe Premiere - audio pops and distorts after export - its fine during preview

So basically everything is fine until I export my video. Tried various methods but still getting the same error over and over. I am using the latest adobe premier software. My video format is mp4.  There are no effects on the audio except the fade out at the end and nothing else.

I think i solved this correctly. The Optical Flow did not help me. I had a suspicison the whole time that it was the template i was using because that was the first time using it.

I created a new project and sequence, copied all of my old timeline items into the new and it exported with perfect audio.

Hope this helps someone.

Your audio in the timeline is not ok.

It's hitting red like crazy: it's way too loud (overmodulated) hence the crackling in the export.

could you please share a solution. I haven't changed anything regarding the audio. And if the timeline is not okay why does it sound okay during the preview phase?

but it does in the preview. Litterally listening with my headphones and I am fine with that version. Not the end result. Please be a bit more helpful or dont reply at all.

There's a good chance that when playing in Premiere you are using its 32bit float 'engine'. This often copes with overloads. When exporting I expect you are reducing the file to 16 bit and any overloads will result in distortion. Try pulling down the master fader in the track mixer to stop the peaks going into the red.

Edit: Sample, bitrate, channels audio codec and everything was fine. I don't know the difference but when I render time interpolation setting with "frame sampling" the sound gets glitchy & pops. When i switched the time interpolation setting to optical flow it is fixed.

Not helpful? I gave you a link on how to edit audio. Cannot believe Optical flow did the trick, its not for audio.

In the timeline: overmodulated.

Your audio should never run into RED.

I am running into this exact sam issue. Th pitch is going up and it is crackling when it does not do it in the preview. Would love to know what the solution is if you find one.
