Adobe Premiere issue with scrolling in the project panel

Hi everyone,

I’ve been encountering a frustrating issue with Adobe Premiere. In the project panel where my video files are stored, I often experience a problem where the scroll bar automatically moves down and gets stuck at the bottom. Even when I try to scroll back up, the panel keeps scrolling back down, locking itself at the bottom. This causes me to lose a lot of time as I have to save my project, close Premiere, and reopen it to fix the issue temporarily. Unfortunately, the problem reappears after 10-20 minutes, and I’m forced to repeat the process.

Has anyone experienced this before or know of a solution to prevent this from happening?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
Christopher

Try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:

If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.
