Hi everyone! First time posting here, but I am super desperate.
Recently we got new computers at work (iMac Pros) They all have Catalina preinstalled. All my other Adobe products are working fine so far, except for Premiere.
____
The problem:
- When I try to export a DCP file, the encoding loading bar will pop up, and about 17% of the way it just stops. No error message, nothing. I have left it alone for an hour and returned to find it hasn't made any progress.
These are brand new computers, so there shouldn't be any memory issues.
My last computer can still export the Premiere file just fine (same file, from the same external drive). I am not advanced with Adobe Premiere, and so I don't mess with any preferences at all, so I don't think that it has too much to do with that. But please correct me if I'm wrong.
Has anyone else had this problem at all? I've been searching the forums and have not found anything similar.

Hi there,
This does not sound ideal. Export may get stuck if Premiere Pro is finding it difficult to render some effect or media at a particular time code.
Looking forward to a response.

Shivangi

- I am using the 2020 Version of Premiere
- Hmm, it seems to have worked through a brand new file!
- The only effects I'm using are transitions... "Dip to Black" That's it!
- H.264 Exported just fine
I guess I'll try to rebuild my project in a brand new file and see if that works okay.
Thanks for replying. I will update

Just kidding... I rebuilt the whole project, and it still won't export all the way through.
Exporting worked well on files only a few seconds long, but my entire project is 8 minutes long.
So strange
