Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 Mic Issue's

Wondering if someone can help me with this one. I'm trying to do a voice over on my video which I've done several times. I recently purchases a faster pc to do more with but when I try and record myself it just wont work. Im using a Blue Yeti, Made sure the the settings are all set. It lists the blue Yeti in the audio preferences as usual. When I click to start recording the meter that shows audio for the chosen track for my voice over doesn't register anything. It show s that I have the yeti as my mic but still. Ive switched over to my old PC to see if it was the mic but its not. Same program on my older computer and I can voice over no prob. Whats going on? Ive checked the Microphone privacy control and all seems ok? I tried using OBS to see if I could get the mic to register on the new pc and it does, the waves go up when speaking in the mic. I understand I can record my audio seperately and import them to my project which is a pain. But if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thx
