Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Title Tool issues

Hi,

Lately, I've had an incredibly large amount of problems using premiere pro, but this one has gotten in the way of work at this point. I can not make titles when I need to. When this issue occurs, sometimes 2 or 3 fonts will show up (usually ones that cant be used on a serious edit). When I try using my normal font and go to start typing, the text box expands as if I've just hit the enter key 50 times. Sometimes this problem does not happen at all and other times it will only work if I do something crazy like make the title in a new file and then copy and paste it. Other times premiere has crashed completely (lost lots of work this way) Any fixes are appreciated since I can't get any support from adobe on this...

Start with trashing preferences.

Hold down shift+alt while opening Premiere until splash screen appears..

You will lose all settings, presets etc.

Hi,

I tried that, and for some reason, it deleted everything in my timeline but I had just started, nbd. No effect on other projects. It appears it did do something for the text as I have some options to work with but it did not fix the issue entirely.

Try resetting the Workspaces:
Reset a workspace
Reset the current workspace to return to its original, saved layout of panels.
1. Do one of the following:
• Click the Workspace menu icon and select Reset to Saved Layout.
• Choose Window > Workspace > Reset to Saved Layout.
from here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/workspaces.html

If that doesn’t work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site.

Hi Bob,

None of those solutions have fixed the issue.
