After converting .mov to .mp4, file still has no video

All right,

I've converted my .mov file to .mp4 files using Adobe media converter.  But, when I import the file into Premiere, the clip's audio is fine whereas the video is a white screen.  It's pretty frustrating, and I don't know how to make the video "come back," if you will.

Why are you converting? Does the .mov not play in PP? It's unlikely ME can convert that if PP can't play it. Do you see the preview in ME as it's doing the conversion? You might be able to use HandBrake or some other conversion program if need be.

what codec is the file.  Download media info

and drop your file on the window and hover over the video area of the mediainfo window and. a window will popup that will give you this info.  .mov's and .mp4 files are simply wrappers that can contain many different formats some of which are not compatible with many systems, os's and software.   You might want to help us help you by describing your workflow and tell us where your source files came from and what you sequence settings were in premiere....  not to mention the specs of your computer, the version of premiere,....etc
