any way to remove all gain adjustment from multiple clips in the timeline

I think I figured it out.  I had a call from a friend in LA who asked if there was a way to do this.  I think you select all the appropriate audio clips, control click and choos audio gain and choose "set audio gain" to 0db...  Did a quick test and it seems to do what he wants...

Seems to work. On a PC you just right-click and select Audio Gain and set the dialog how you want.
