Hi,

the arrow keys for moving "Step Forward 1 Frame" and "Step Back 1 Frame" in the timeline suddenly jump to the beginning or end of the sequence. I checked the keyboard layout and there everything is fine.

A bug?

Are you using right and left arrows or up and down?

Yes, I am definitly using left and right. Up and down are also behaving strange. They move the view of the timeline.

- I tried on another computer. There I don't have the problem.
(but the Computer where the problem occurs is my main workstation. Would be nice to be able to fix it :))

- I tried 2 versions. The latest 2025 and 2024. Both have the problem.

I trashed the preferences, but no success.

I have no function key pressed accidently either.

It's a Windows 11 PC.

By now I found out that the problem is not limited to Premiere but globaly on the Computer.

I made a check on what the Buttons actually do (online keyboard test) and for some reason it is like this:

- Up key acts as "page up"

- down key as "page down"

- left as "home"

- right as "end".

I have not been able to solve the problem yet. Language Settings are correct, made a Hardware reset.

I also don't know if an Adobe update caused the error, is just where I noticed first. But if you are having the same problem, maybe...?

Any ideas on how to solve that are welcome in any case.
