Audio is missing from video export.
Its always the same dialog which is missing.
- Tracks are not muted
- Deleted files and rendered files, but still missing after importing them again then try to export.
- Audio sounds great when editing or watching in Premiere Pro.
- This relates to 2 files I imported into this program (the other 100 files are working just fine)
I shot footage on the same camera (1080p 25fps including audio recorded on the same video file)
What is wrong with Adobe Premiere Pro?
Hi @simon_2555
Welcome to the Premiere Pro Forum community. Thank you for taking the time to report a problem. The team needs a little more information to begin troubleshooting. The link here, How to Report a Problem, has steps to provide more information about your bug that can help us identify the issue. Do you also have a sample file you are importing to send us? If you can send a project file or a screen record of your problem, that is very helpful.
Here to help.

I've had this issue a few times, I ended up sending the faulty files to Audition, makeing a Wav file and re-importing back to Premiere.

Hi Ian,
Here is the issue using the template you provided...
Issue - Exported video file doesn't play back on some media players, where a line of audio/dialog is missing. The audio is there when editing and when I playback the exported file on my computer. So Adobe Premiere seems to have an issue with its codec?
Steps to reproduce - I have deleted imported raw footage and deleted render files, then I imported the raw footage again. Didn't work.
I exported the audio as a WAV file from Adobe Premiere then replaced the original audio with the wav file. Didn't work.
I sent the raw footage to another computer with Resolve to export it as a WAV file, then added it in Premiere. Didn't work.
I opened a new project to see if this would help. Didn't work
So I have adjusted the import file type and still this audio does not come through on the export for certain media players.
Expected result - I expect that the exported file should be able to play all of the audio on other devices.
Actual result - Audio from 2 raw footage files does not export properly, causing some players (Dropbox/DVD player with USB stick) to have silience where the audio should be. The export sounds fine on my computer.
Adobe premiere pro version 25.3.0
Operating system - Mac (Sequoia 15.6)
Video format - Raw footage - MPEG-4 1920x1080 (1.0), 25fps, Rec 709, Progressive (From a canon EOS R) Audio is recorded on the camera footage.
Export footage from Adobe - Video Format H.264, 1920x1080, (1.0), 25fps, Progressive, Rec 709, 100 (63% HLG, 51% PQ), Hardware Encoding, VBR, 1 pass, Target 15.90. Audio is ACC, 320kbps, 48KHz, Stereo
Summary - So only 2 raw files are missing audio after being exported when played on certain media players.

Could this be a phase issue on the faulty clips? Try adding fill left with right audio effect to see if that helps.

Hi Richard,
Yes this works, thank you for your help.
I couldn't imagine both phases being exactly the opposite at all frequencies! Wow, Thank you so much

Strictly speaking this isn't a phase issue but a polarity issue. The stereo clip has two mono tracks on left and right but the polarity between the two tracks is 180 degrees out. When played on stereo speakers you will still hear both sides but they may sound a little odd, when played on a mono device, often a phone, the two tracks will cancel themselves and you will hear nothing. This polarity issue is often caused by using a XLR balanced 3 pin mono microphone fed into a stereo 3.5mm 3 pin jack using an incorrect adaptor.
