Audio Effect: Intercom/PA System

Hey guys! 

Looking to turn a recorded VO line into what is the New York City subway car conductor speaking through the intercom to passengers. Trying to mess around with a few effects and trying to figure out how to distort it a little more, make it almost walkie-talkie like since it's coming from a crappy subway car speaker? Any tips to figuring this out? Are there any one or multiple layered effects you'd reccomend? Thanks folks.

In the Essential Sound panel there are some Dialog options that include things that can get towards that sort of sound.

Then edit the effects used.
