Audio export bug? Or idiot user error?

I just finished mastering my audio and the exported files bears no resemblance to the audio in ppro on playback. The mastering effect is not being sent to export.

Heres my my mixer:

(I tested this with the effects switched off - pictured - the output sounded identical to the rendered file.)

I have tried rendering just the audio, rendering with ppro, and with media encoder.

This used to work fine pre cc2017

OH FFS.

I switched it off and on again.  Now it works.
