Hi!
I am quite new to Premiere, but encountered this issue just now. I have a normal clip as a MP4, that i imported to Premiere Pro. The audio is normal in original clip, but when imported it sounds off. It is hard to describe how, but something like part sof the sound were missing. I have tried some stuff regardin to audio hardware etc I found online, but they have not helped. Of course it might be I can't find right words to serach with. This did not happen earlier today fot other clips, but after it happened with this one it happens with others I try also...
I tried to attach examples.
I tried to attach clips to show the difference. Number 1 is the original, Nurmber 2 from Premiere. Tell me if I am wring, but I hear a difference between them.
The stereo audio is spread over two tracks, hence the echo.
Right click on file in Project window > Modify and set number of audio clips to 1.
Now drop it in the timeline.

Thank you very much, this worked! Is there a way to avoid this happening, or is it just something about the type of the clip? If the latter, it is weird in that sense that similar clips from same place have nver done it before.
