Audio keeps cutting off half way when importing with video clip

So while working on Premiere Pro everytime I import a video clip to my sequence the audio clip attached to the video clip cuts off half way and I dont know why. Can someone please help me.

What type of video clip is it? Is the audio in sync with the video up until the point it cuts off? As a test have you tried transcoding the video clip with Handbrake before importing it into Premiere Pro?
