I used a preview audio file from Adobe Stock in a project. Happy with the result I purchased the resulting audio file. I deleted all traces of the preview file from the bin and project. When I play the licensed version in the audio panel it sounds fine, but when I drag it into the timeline it sounds like the lower quality preview version.
Is that a thing? I'm not getting why this is happening or how to fix it.

Are you still getting "low quality" audio when you export your sequence?

Yes. 🙂

Hmmm. Does it sound "low quality" in the Project panel or in the Source panel? Or is it just when you drop it on the Timeline?

It sounds fine playing back in the source panel and bad when played back in the timeline. Not sure how to play it back in the project panel, as I can only scrub the audio.

You can play it in the Project panel using the same "Spacebar" keyboard shortcut.
