Hello !
We are doing an interview video, and we Want to remove a word that the person is saying.
We watch some video about it, it seems pretty easy.
We cut the word (video and audio) put the two new extremities together and try to add an audio transition to balance/cross the sound.
The problem is when we apply the transition the audio from the word come back ! We heard it just before the cut in the video.
If we remove the transition effect, the ”audio word” disappear another time...
We don‘t understand What’s wrong and can‘t find a thing about it ...
Thank you for your help
Marie
It sounds like you need to shorten the audio transition. It's probably one second by default and that is bringing back 1/2 second from each clip. Try right clicking the transition after adding it and choosing Change Duration (I think that's what it says, I don't have it open in front of me, but it's something close). In the duration box, try entering the number 4 (by itself). This will create a super short, 4 frame transition, just enough to prevent any clicks or pops but short enough
