Auto reframe sequence

Hi, 

I'm trying to create a duplicate sequence in different aspect ratio and apply the auto reframe effect but

it opens a new sequence in a new aspect ratio (1:1, 9:16 etc) without the video images, just with the graphics. 

what's up with that?

Thank you for your help (In clip nesting I use - "Dont nest clips" option).

Did you apply the auto reframe by context-clicking the sequence in the project panel and selecting auto reframe sequence? Or did you apply the auto reframe effect to one or more clips in the sequence?

It's not clear to me from your description.

I'm clicking on the sequence >Auto Reframe Sequence > The small "Auto reframe sequence" box opens > create = A sequence without images, just subtitles and graphics
