Auto reframing question

I'm working on a project that requires an output of 1920 x 780.  In the auto-reframe window, the option is to use a simply ratio.  5:2 is the closest I can get but it's not exactly right so the height ends up being 768 rather than 780.  I tried just entering 1920 x 780 but I get an error icon.  Outputting through Media Encoder lets me set the dimensions, but doesn't give me control of what iskept and what is thrown out.

Use export settings instead: you can crop on output.

Export doesn't allow me to control what portion of the image is dropped.  It may be the only solution, but Auto-reframe has that capability if I can figure out how to make it work.
