hello
i have an audio track in the seq with markers to the beat
and than i want to add multiple photos to the sequence with the automate to sequence
when i hit okay they get added to the sequence but they are not all back to back so a gap is inbetween
and i have to go manually in and stretch them to be back to back
but the first one is back to back to the next photo.
is this a bug ?
or am i missing some checkbox or setting to get them back to back ?

Set duration for the stills in the project window longer than the duration between markers.

it is allready,
😞
in my first attached screenshot you can also see that the first still is much longer in duration but back to back to the next clip
(and the clip duration in project is set to 250 frames/5sec in the 30fps timeline)
but all afterwards have this weird gap 😞
is there a shortcut to stretch clip to next clip to close gap without deleting the gap so the timing stay<s the same ?
or why does this gap happen?
thx in advance
Andrej

Is the duration of the image itself sufficient.
Setting it in the preferences after import has no effect on the duration.
Needs to be done before import or change the duration in the project window.
Rolling edit multiple images

its set by default 250 frames 😞
but you can see that the first clip in the timeline much longer is thatn the rest but its also the only one that is back to back with the next clip
i want to sync the stills with the music thats why i use markers and the automate to sequence feature
but its really weird with the gaps.
the only way is to stretch the clips to the next one because deleting the gaps (ripple edit) would destroy the purpose of synced to music
so i need to got through every singe still and stretch it out to the next to have it back to back
here is also my screenshot from the automate to sequence setting
its just the weirdest thing because the first the longest clip is really the only one that is back to back flush with the next clip 😞
hope its just a bug or any checkbox or setting that i miss.
thx in advance

Again Setting default duration to still only affects newly imported images
Post screenhot a screenshot of a still selected in List View in the project window with the Preview Area showing.
Change Clip duration in the checkbox Use in/out range.
