Backup Dynamic Link Projects

All my projects are made up of After effects comps arranged in Premier Pro via dynamic link. I have all the project files and assets in folders in my CC folder. I want to back up all my finished projects into cold storage on my computer. So in Ae i have removed unused files and collected the projects into new folders on my HD. But I need to backup the Premier Pro projects as well. But if I just move it to the HD then all the dynamic links will be pointing to the original Ae locations not the backed up ones right? So How do I go about backing up my projects so the dynamic links dont break?

That's ... an interesting question. I'm not sure you can, really. I'll be very interested to see if someone has a suggestion! Another place to ask would be on the AfterEffects forum ...

If there is no future editing needed on your AE Dynamic Link files you can select them and then go to clip/render and replace and convert them to a video. Then use project manager.
Unfortunately Premiere doesn't save backups of AE projects with Project Manager.

That's what I was sort of expecting, really. It's what I typically have done with an Ae comp, as the "dynamic link" is pretty fragile, really. So in general I finish a comp (mine are relatively simple too!) and then export out a 'full' video file so I can have the full quality without fear of D-L failure.
