I use the Dublin Core description inside the metadata panel to write to metadata to source files. If multiple clips are selected in the project panel I can write metadata to all of them at once. Along comes the 2018 update and now I've got quite a frustrating bug. If I select multiple clips and batch write it only adds metadata to the first and last clips in my selection. The issue has persisted through computer restarts and premiere shift starts. Is anyone else seeing this issue? Any suggestions or fixes besides reverting or installing a previous version of premiere?
Adobe is aware of the issue. We can only wait for a fix.

Interestingly enough, the 2 clips premiere decides to write the metadata to in my selection changes based on the order I select the clips. Top down selections causes the first 2 clips to receive the metadata, bottom up selections write to the first and last, and randomly selecting clips sometimes only results in only 1 clip receiving the metadata. Absolutely bizarre.

I've been having the same issues.
It is no longer possible to add metadata to multiple clips. You can only do it individually or to 2 clips.
Premiere just released an update but this was not fixed.
Adobe, please fix this. This bug results in hours of wasted time adding metadata individually.

I'm on 12.0.1 (build 69) , the latest PP 2018. It works correctly if you put the clips in a sequence & select them there.
