Hi,
I got an already edited sequence of an interview with a lot of cuts/small bits in it.
Now I have to reduce the noise floor of all of these clips in Audition.
This means I need to work with the source clips in Audition because I need to capture the Noise Print.
Because I don't want to reedit the whole film I'm looking for a way to replace the audio in my timeline with the clean audio coming from Audition.
Thanks very much in advance!
Here is what I ended up with:
This seems to be very awk

no. you have to deal with noise in each clip one at a time.
you probably could have done that already instead of posting this stuff for magic solution.

Of course I already finished this job. Please see my post #13.
But I'll have to work on sth like this in the future. That's why I'm asking for optimization.

geez..
once you get some noise (whatever that is ) PRINT (sample) in audition when you right clck in clip and edit in audition, you apply THAT to every one and hope for the best.

Please read my posts. You'll find out that this has nothing to do with my problems.

hehe... thank you for telling me it's done already ! Good going !
Hope it turned out looking and sounding good. I'm sure it did, with all the work you put into it.
I sorta use slates and independent recording for sound... with one camera .. but I did have a little boom mic on top of my DSLR once for some weird shot (car interior, passenger getting into car, camera on drivers side ) as a back up. Sound boom guy was in back seat.. and the guy turning the recorder on and off messed up and put it on 'pause' when I said 'keep rolling' ...so he threw out the sync. I had to use the camera mic which was OK but off by 5 frames ( I record video on an atomos via HDMI ).
So I have no clue how complex your stuff is cause it's way more than I ever did or will do in the future.
Anyway, one shot outside got some stupid truck noise a few blocks away and another shot got some giant roof top air conditioner, and I didn't hear that when shooting. Boom guy was inexperienced and wasn't aware of noise either.
Was a little tricky getting rid of the noise and to have noise on EVERYTHING would drive me crazy ! So good going and good luck with future stuff. You already know about high pass and low pass and there is a mixer type thing that can play with independent frequencies but that's pretty high end location stuff.
