Blending mode option.

I am editing a video where i want to blend one video with the video on the track below so i googled it but when i select the clip go to effect controls go down to opacity there is no blend mode option but every site or video i go on they have a blend mode in the opacity section can someone tell me what i am doing wrong here.

The blend mode selector should be on the next line down from the opacity adjustment in the Video Effects display

I'm facing the same problem, I don't have blend mode under opacity

What version of PR?

It looks to me like the Blend Modes box is there with the drop-down arrow, but it is empty.

I would try resetting preferences.
