Blue Yeti mic picking up lipsmack/click sound - how to eliminate on Premiere Pro?

Hi There, I'm new to video production and editing. My talent got a new Blue YETI microphone which sounds awesome. However, we've noticed there's a lip/click sound after she speaks a word. We've used the pop filter too and still getting the lipsmack/click sound. When bringing it into Premiere Pro I've used the audio effects of: Automatic Click Remover, DeHummer, DeNoise, and DeReverb. All work nice in removing some unnecessary external room sounds and hums, but still I can hear the lipsmack click sound after some words she says.

Is there a way on Premiere Pro to isolate and remove that sound? I do have Adobe Audition too, but haven't used it much.

Here's a video we created and during the meditations is where we can hear it.

Anyone have experienced the same and had resolved the unintended sound? Your tips and tricks are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Wendy,
Not really. I'm afraid this is more a case of recording the sound correctly at the source. The suggestion is to try off-axis mic placement, different mic distances, mic height (perhaps slightly above the talent, if possible).

The other thing is that your talent should avoid any beverages which might produce mucous or viscous material in the mouth. Stick to water and that will help.

Our audio pros give similar advice on the Audition forum. Please check that out.

Regards,
Kevin

Thank you Kevin, I'll look at the Audition forum too.  I'll need to coach my talent into just having water.  Meanwhile, I've been listening carefully and at the end of each statement where it might happen, I've been cutting it out.  By doing that it makes the video cleaner.  Thanks!
