I'm very new to Premiere Pro and having difficulty with applying the blur effect to a moving object - Is there any way someone could help with it. I've watched how-to videos and can't follow with all the different configurations of the workspaces...

Appreciate the quick response... I did find that link as well, but the way my workspace is set up, there's no "mask" options showing up and don't know how to get them to show. As mentioned, I'm very new to this...

Thanks, I'm guessing you know this program backwards and forwards, but for someone who doesn't, your screenshot tells me practically nothing - no need to reply back.

Thank you, Baffy - I've gotten farther with your steps, although I'm still not getting it. The blur is showing up through the whole video, and can't figure out how to keep it to just where I need it. Along with my inability to figure it out, I'm also starting to think my computer just isn't high tech enough for the features to work.

Just animate the value of the mask movement if the frame is not static, and also remove the brightness with keyframes when the mask is not needed.
Have you explained it clearly now?
