Text tool seems to be broken for me. version 23.6.0. Text tool icon appears but when clicking the program window nothing changes. No ability to type. Drawing a red text box doesn't work wither. Its just clicks and thats it.

@Nick Pappas Is this still happening for you?
What about Ctrl/Cmd + T or New Layer > Text from the Graphics and Titles menu? Can you make a new text layer that way and can you edit it after the fact with the Type tool?
