Can I add a Blur to Captions-Background in Essential Graphics Panel ?

So i created Captions in Premiere.

I can adjust the style of these Captions, e.g. Background Color, Font-Style etc.

I would like to have a semi-transparent Background-Box that is also blurred a bit for all my Captions though. I can create a semi-transparent blurred Shadow for the Text itself, but that's not quite the same, because the shadow still creates a shape similar to the text. I would just need an Option to Blur the Background-Box.

Is there any way to achieve this?

1 - Go to Graphics and Titles and click on Upgrade Caption to Graphic, this way you'll have more controls over the look of your captions.

2 - Add a Drop shadow to the text with background and the shadow will be applied to the background.

3 - Adjuts the values of your Drop shadow as you see fit.

Below is an example I created for you, I made the shadow red just you can see the effect. I hope this is what you're looking for.
