Can I move one project sequence into another?

I have two separate project sequences created (much to my dismay), they are both complied of a ton of video editing clips and so I don't want to have to re-edit either of them, is there a way I can take one sequence and place it into another project and literally move one sequence next to the other so that they run one after another thus assimilating them into the same project?

Is it a matter of exporting one? If so what file type?  I would rather have access to the entire project so that I continue to edit it, if not possible that's fine, but I am truly at a loss.

If you're on PrPro 2018 (12.x builds) you can open multiple projects at the same time, and simply drag/drop a sequence from one project to the other.

Alternatively, use the Media Browser, navigate to the other project file, and import that sequence.

Wow!

Thanks for responding so quickly! I've managed to figure out how to open more than one project at a time, when you say drag and drop- would I move my sequence of (for example) 17 clips, make them a group(?) and then drag and drop into the other project tab? I guess I don't know how to see both project video time lines side by side to make the drop too.

Nvm, that worked! Select the clips in the sequence you want to move, right click Group it, drag and drop on the tab name, opens the other window and then place it as desired.

Awesome, Thanks again!

One thing to remember ... you might want to then Close the second project. It's pretty easy to start messing up your projects when you forget which one you're "in" while working with multiple projects open.

Good call, my question to that is, will I risk losing info that Adobe will want to retain about the sequence I've now moved into the second project, am I at risk of losing things by closing project one? I forgot about the saving wants (do's and don't) of Adobe, and thus had a mini-panic attack earlier today thinking I had lost all of my work.

Further to that, do you recommend that I save everything to the cloud as a safeguard/ simplifying the process?

You're good to go when closing the project. If something needs saving, you'll get a box asking if you want to save the project before closing.

Saving projects to other drives or online backup systems is a good practice, in general. I do to other drives, some of which sit on a shelf between backups.
