Can't paste effects into the "Master" effects of an Adjustment Layer

I can easily cut and paste effects between various items - I can also paste effects into an item's Master tab (so that the effects get applied to every instance of the item in question).

But one thing I can't seem to do is paste effects into the Master tab of Adjustment Layers. If I "cut" an effect then go to the Master tab, the paste function is not available. Could this be a bug?

(Bonus question while I'm here... I can't seem to select and cut multiple effects at a time. Is this normal?)

I cannot reproduce your issue on windows.

Thanks Ann, I trashed prefs but that didn't work. But you've helped me anyway because at least I know the problem is with my machine, so I can ignore/work around the problem instead of worrying if I'm doing something wrong
